General

These terms and conditions apply to all photography sessions and services provided by Camera Action Photography, operated by Amy Glover. By booking a session, you agree to these terms.

Booking and payment

A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your session date. The remaining balance is due on or before the day of your session. Payment can be made by bank transfer or card. Your session is not confirmed until the deposit has been received.

Cancellation and rescheduling

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give us at least 48 hours' notice. Sessions cancelled with less than 48 hours' notice will forfeit the deposit. We understand that life happens, and we will always try to accommodate changes where possible.

If Camera Action Photography needs to cancel a session due to unforeseen circumstances, we will offer an alternative date or a full refund including the deposit.

Session conduct

We want every session to be relaxed and enjoyable. Please arrive on time so we can make the most of your session. For children's sessions, a parent or guardian must be present at all times. We reserve the right to end a session early if behaviour puts the safety of any person or equipment at risk.

Image delivery

Edited images are typically delivered within two to three weeks of your session via an online gallery. Wedding photography may take up to six weeks during peak season. We will keep you updated on progress.

Copyright and image usage

All photographs remain the copyright of Camera Action Photography. When you purchase a session or package, you receive a personal use licence. This means you can print, share, and display your images for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not sell, alter, or use the images for commercial purposes without written permission.

Portfolio and marketing use

We may use selected images from your session in our portfolio, on our website, and on social media to showcase our work. If you would prefer your images not to be used in this way, please let us know before or during your session. We will always respect your wishes.

Weather policy

For outdoor sessions, we will monitor the weather forecast leading up to your session date. If conditions are unsuitable (heavy rain or extreme weather), we will contact you to reschedule at no extra charge. Light rain or overcast skies can actually produce beautiful photographs, so we may still go ahead with your agreement.

Liability

Camera Action Photography takes every care to deliver a professional service and safeguard your images. However, we cannot be held liable for circumstances beyond our control, such as equipment failure, illness, or extreme weather. In such cases, we will make every effort to reschedule your session or provide a full refund.

Our total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the total amount you paid for the session or package in question.
